Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support outage and field service work at nuclear power plants worldwide. This full-time role reports to the Rotating Equipment Resource Manager and is based at the Waltz Mill site in Madison, PA with travel as required.

Responsibilities include equipment disassembly/assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of issues and improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of related nuclear power plant experience desired.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Unescorted Access status.

Responsibilities

• Obtain reactor coolant pump, motor, and seal qualifications for outages.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble and test pump, motor and seal components.
• Set up and operate field service equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Document issues and lessons learned for process improvements.
• Perform service center operations including maintenance, decontamination and calibration.
• Lead small projects or teams with predefined goals when assigned.
