Job summary

Framatome-North-America is seeking a Field Machining lead to own and manage all machining equipment and related assets, including lathes, bevelers, drilling systems, and in-house devices. You will coordinate procurement, support refurbishment, and work with site teams to ensure readiness for deployment.

You will travel to remote job sites, participate in refurbishment crews, and ensure compliance with safety and dose rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge in a particular field of commonly used equipment, practices and concepts.
• Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles.
• Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, policies, procedures and guidelines with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
• Requires specific technical training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all Field Machining equipment and ancillary assets.
• Coordinate procurement of parts and supplies to support refurbishment and inventory.
• Collaborate with System Owners, task leads, and Engineering to develop and maintain OWO documentation.
• Coordinate equipment refurbishment and calibration activities via Maximo work orders.
• Support refurbishment and inventory planning, primarily for MAR activities.
• Lead Field Machining refurbishment activities and deploy to customer sites as needed.
• Comply with safety and health rules, and travel to remote job sites.
