Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to lead regulatory and environmental program efforts for its nuclear operations. You will provide technical guidance, manage complex compliance projects, and represent the site during audits with regulators, industry groups, and consultants.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, development of training for personnel, and building relationships with stakeholders to influence environmental programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geology or related field with 6 years of environmental program experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience presenting issues and advocating positions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multi-media Federal and State environmental statutes and regulations.
• Maintain required access credentials and undergo medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance in assigned environmental programs and regulatory support.
• Represent the site during environmental audits conducted by internal and external organizations.
• Manage environmental projects including scope, proposals, budgeting, timeline and deliverables.
