Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Pittsburgh, PA invites dedicated engineering students to join as Nuclear Engineering Intern. You will support the Energy group from our Pittsburgh office, contributing to multidisciplinary projects and on-site experiences.

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be willing to travel and work onsite as needed. Transcript submission is requested with application.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging problems pertaining to nuclear energy technologies and power generating systems
• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Assist in the research and development of energy technologies
• Gain valuable on-site practical experience
• Actively participate in creation of deliverables, technical reports, and presentations to clients
• Coordinate with Senior Engineers and Designers as needed

Hatch is seeking a Nuclear Engineering Intern. Reporting to theEnergy group, you will support offices globally working from ourPittsburgh, PAoffice location.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

You bring to the role:

• Willingness to travel and work onsite (including remote locations)
• Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred

• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
