You will engage in solving complex nuclear energy problems, contribute to multidisciplinary projects, and help prepare technical reports and client-ready deliverables. Ideal candidates are recent graduates with relevant internships and a strong foundation in energy technologies, who are willing to travel and work onsite in a collaborative, mentorship-rich

Qualifications

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduates with relevant skills, little professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Nuclear Engineer. Reporting to the Energy group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Qualifications:
  • Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
  • Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering
  • Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
As the successful candidate, you will:
  • Solve challenging problems pertaining to nuclear energy technologies and power generating systems
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
  • Actively participate in the creation of the deliverables, technical reports, and presentations to clients
  • Assist in the research and development of energy technologies
You bring to the role:
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite (including remote locations)
  • Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset
