Responsibilities

  • Using radiation sources to collect data from detector systems for testing detector, collimator, or shielding technologies.
  • Developing code to process and analyze data to answer technical questions.
  • Developing mechanical or electrical test fixtures and/or sub-assemblies for testing.
  • Developing algorithms or analysis methods to aid in investigation of detector or collimator technologies.
  • Presenting development activities and results to engineering staff and management.

This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands‑on experience. As a Nuclear Engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for:
