Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an Engineer - Nuclear-Level 2 on behalf of our client Westinghouse. This is a 1-year contract (W-2).

You will apply NEI Standard Design Process and oversee design modifications in nuclear power facilities, reporting to the onsite manager. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or I&C Engineering, at least four years of nuclear plant experience, and strong coordination with operations, vendors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or I&C Engineering.
• Minimum of four years nuclear power plant experience.
• Experience with NEI Standard Design Process.
• Familiarity with codes and standards; 10 CFR 50.59 experience.

Responsibilities

• Design modifications for upgrades and obsolete equipment.
• Oversee system modifications across vendors, disciplines, and interfaces.
• Coordinate project execution with operations, engineering, vendors, and regulators.
• Apply NEI Standard Design Process to ensure compliance.
• Mentor engineers on nuclear electrical/I&C concepts and digital tech.
