Qualifications

• Nuclear Engineer I: ABET-accredited engineering degree required; Master’s may substitute for BS.
• Nuclear Engineer II: ABET-accredited engineering degree and 2–4 years of engineering experience; nuclear experience.
• The role requires ability to obtain nuclear site unescorted access and regulatory qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review neutronic analyses of nuclear fuel assemblies and fuel cycle designs.
• Perform nuclear design safety calculations and generate operational predictions.
• Manage project teams through the reload design process.
• Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and documentation.
• Develop, qualify, and maintain computer codes used in nuclear design analysis.
