Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Nuclear Engineer 2 to support Wolf Creek Generating Station with safety analysis and core design responsibilities. You will work under the Manager, Integrated Site Engineering and contribute to the transition of methodologies to Westinghouse standards.

The role requires a nuclear engineering degree and at least three years of relevant experience, with unescorted access to the reactor site and the ability to develop technical procedures and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear engineering required.
• Minimum 3+ years of applicable experience.
• Perform analyses related to fuel reloads including core and thermal-hydraulic design.
• Unescorted access to Wolf Creek Generating Station will be required.
• Develop procedures and methods for implementing technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety analysis engineering at Wolf Creek Generating Station.
• Support design, development, performance, and delivery of technical products and services.
• Initially, transition WCNOC methodology to Westinghouse methodology.
• Directly responsible for daily customer satisfaction in fuel reload design and support.
