Job summary

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan seeks a researcher to advance nuclear engineering capabilities, focusing on regulatory frameworks, safety analyses, and R&D for operation and maintenance of nuclear plants.

The position requires a Master’s degree or higher in a related field, strong analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin. Occasional travel to site facilities may be required to support projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, technical report writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct technical research and communicate findings in English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with domestic and international nuclear safety regulations, codes and standards.

1.Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning.

2.Willingness to travel and work at nuclear power plant sites as required.

3.Coursework in Nuclear Reactor Engineering, Radiation Protection, Thermal-Hydraulics, or related disciplines.

4.Familiarity with domestic and international nuclear safety regulations, codes, and technical standards.

5.Experience in pressure vessel design, manufacturing, or related engineering activities.

6.Prior experience in nuclear power plants, nuclear facilities, or nuclear-related projects is highly preferred.
