Job description

CURIO™ Legacy Ventures, a nuclear technology and innovation company, is seeking to fill the nuclear engineer position. The ideal candidate would be part of a team responsible for and tasked with design and development of novel process equipment. As a team member, applicant will work in a fast paced, high octane environment that accelerates operational efficiency.

Candidates are applying for a position that has export control regulations and would require them to be a US citizen or LPR or a citizen of any qualifying nation under 10 CFR Appendix A to Part 810.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Advanced Nuclear Simulations: Conduct intricate simulations involving neutron transport, fuel cycle analysis, thermal hydraulics, and more to support Curio’s mission of advancing nuclear technology.
  • Innovate in Nuclear Technology: Play a pivotal role in the design and development of groundbreaking nuclear technologies, including innovative reactor fuels, moderators, reflectors, control elements, and structural materials.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert advice to our engineering team on the implications of design changes concerning nuclear and radiation safety, ensuring the integrity and safety of our innovative solutions.
  • Nuclear Instrumentation Expertise: Guide the selection and implementation of nuclear instrumentation, ensuring accurate measurement and monitoring as we push the boundaries of what’s possible in nuclear energy.
  • Collaborate in Design Reviews: Engage in interdisciplinary design reviews, bringing your nuclear engineering expertise to the table to help refine and optimize our cutting‑edge solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports that clearly communicate the outcomes of simulations, analyses, and design evaluations, contributing to Curio’s reputation for excellence and innovation.
