AtkinsRéalis in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an Electrical Safety Manager/Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction to join our team. This role leads safety and compliance across electrical design, installation, and operations, and ensures adherence to NFPA codes, DOE orders, and OSHA standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, nuclear experience preferred, and US citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in design, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stop unsafe work and escalate safety concerns as needed.
• Manage department staff including development and performance.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70/70E, ANSI C2, 29 CFR 1910/1926, and DOE orders.
