Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Designer 2 to perform 3D and 2D electrical design using AutoCAD and MicroStation. The role reports to the Electrical Physical Design Manager and offers a hybrid work arrangement at the Rock Hill, SC office with on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities include supporting nuclear power plant operations, documentation, and international project teamwork. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related discipline or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of applicable experience.
• Experience working with 2D electrical drawings and 3D electrical models.
• Knowledge or certificate on AutoCAD, MicroStation or E3D AVEVA.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical design tasks in support of operation of nuclear power plants.
• Perform documentation and analyses.
• Participate in international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
• Propose design solutions regarding the internal design criteria and international standards.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites.
