Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Electrical Designer 2 to create 3D and 2D electrical designs using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and E3D AVEVA. You will report to the Electrical Physical Design Manager in a hybrid role blending on-site collaboration at our Rock Hill office with remote work.

The role requires an Associate Degree in a related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including working with 2D drawings and 3D models.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related discipline or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of applicable experience.
• Experience working with 2D electrical drawings and 3D electrical models.
• Knowledge or certificate on any of the following design tools: E3D AVEVA, AutoCAD, MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical design tasks in support of operation of nuclear power plants.
• Perform documentation and analyses.
• Participate in international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
• Propose design solutions regarding the internal design criteria and international standards.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites.
