Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for an on-site role in Baxley, GA. The engineer will work on electrical and I&C designs for nuclear plant modifications and perform field walkdowns to verify conditions and constructability.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree or PE license, 3+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements. Relocation assistance is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or a PE license is required.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred in electrical, I&C, or nuclear domains.
• Working knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards is required.
• Nuclear power plant experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and I&C designs for plant modifications and upgrades.
• Prepare/update engineering calculations, drawings, specs, and design documentation.
• Develop project cost estimates and schedules for plant modifications.
• Perform field walkdowns to verify conditions and constructability.
