Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Norwell, MA is seeking a dosimetry technician to provide radiation protection dosimetry support for power-plant activities. You will report to the site manager and be located at multiple nuclear power plants, performing assigned routine tasks based on certifications and skills.

The role requires a high school diploma, compliance with OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations, and obtaining a Level II Nuclear Access Badge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trained and able to comply with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Must obtain Level II Nuclear Access Badge.
• Completion of GAP training / CIRP Task of the NISP-RP-12.

Responsibilities

• Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access
• Safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment
• Use and adhere to station policies and procedures.
• Communicate with co-workers, Supervisors and Sponsors to ensure Safe and Quality job completion
• Understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant
• Participation in a Basic Radiation Protection Training program
