Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Oak Ridge, TN, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support low-voltage systems up to 600 V in a nuclear/DOE environment. The role includes design, procurement, construction, testing, safety, and configuration management, with potential Systems Engineer duties as needed.

The successful candidate will work under the Engineering Manager, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70/70E, ANSI C2, and DOE orders, while maintaining safety and quality standards across facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and safety activities for systems rated at 600 volts and less.
• Prepare and review Facility Modifications, Field Change Notices, Engineering Change Requests, drawings, plans, procedures, and reports.
• Maintain technical knowledge and configuration management of as-built systems, structures, and components.
• Assist in design reviews, equivalency evaluations, and dedications of commercial/legacy equipment.
