Job summary

APTIM is seeking an experienced Work Planner to support Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory for the Naval Reactors Program. Knowledge of nuclear facility planning and Integrated Safety Management is required.

You will plan, estimate, and package work across mechanical, electrical, structural, and radiological scopes. The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with 5 years nuclear/industrial experience preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or physical sciences preferred.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment and strong safety performance.
• DOE nuclear facility experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule decommissioning work activities for the project.
• Ensure job specifications are correct, resources available, and budget/schedule met.
• Develop/work packages with time, materials, and labor estimates and instructions.
• Address mechanical, electrical, structural, and radiological planning and closure needs.
