HukariAscendent is seeking a Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer based out of Richland, WA to support the DOE-approved Nuclear Criticality Safety Program in a non-reactor facility. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering or a related field and 4–5 years of NCS experience; U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance are required. Responsibilities include leading evaluations, training, and developing NCS documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, engineering, math, or science with 4–5 years of NCS experience (or 5 years equivalent).
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials; U.S. Citizenship for facility credentials.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance to operating organizations.
• Lead NCS evaluations as the lead NCS Analyst and review evaluations.
• Conduct periodic reviews of fissionable material operations.
• Develop and review NCS documentation and design analyses.
• Mentor less experienced NCS Analysts and provide training.
