Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DOE L or Q level clearance.
• United States Citizenship required.
• 3+ years of experience performing criticality safety evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Nuclear Criticality Safety documentation.
• Perform chemical dose consequence calculations.
• Support hazard analyses and regulatory compliance.

Skills

Knowledge of nuclear science

Expertise in MCNP and SCALE code systems

Experience in criticality safety evaluations

Familiarity with critical experiments

Knowledge of ANSI/ANS-8 standards

Understanding of nuclear fuel cycle

Proficiency in Python

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in nuclear engineering, chemical engineering, or chemistry
