Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Nuclear engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 9+ years of relevant experience; relevant M.S. and Doctorate degrees may credit up to two or four years.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience for people management or cross-functional project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and technical sourcing of safety-critical mechanical hardware for reactor core.
• Translate design requirements into procurement packages with BOMs, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and traceability to core hardware.
• Build and scale the manufacturing engineering organization by defining roles and onboarding engineers.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on capability, quality systems, and schedule performance.
• Support RFQ development, bid evaluations, and source selection decisions.
