Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for its Nuclear Services Group to join a collaborative team in Kennesaw, GA. You’ll design and evaluate structural systems for power facilities, manage your assignments, and produce code-compliant documents for client projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, a civil/structural degree, and are ready to travel to plant sites. You’ll work with AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and RISA-3D while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Available to start in the next 1–2 months.
• Design modification experiences preferred.
• Proficient in preparing structural designs.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative teammate.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work well in teams.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to travel for client/company projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify civil/structural systems for power-generating facilities.
• Manage assignments with scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Produce code-compliant drawings, calculations, and evaluations.
• Travel to plant sites and perform walk-downs with clients.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and interface with client personnel.
