Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks a Chemistry Technician to obtain, prepare, and analyze samples from plant systems for chemical and radiochemical analyses.

The role requires a high school diploma with chemistry and math, ability to pass EEI TECH, and to work multiple shifts with unescorted nuclear access. A chemistry/chemical engineering degree or equivalent experience, or Navy Nuclear ELT background, is considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with chemistry and mathematics courses
• Ability to pass pre-employment EEI TECH test
• Ability to work different shifts
• Ability to obtain unescorted Nuclear access
• Demonstrates leadership and teamwork
• AND ONE of the following: degree or relevant experience or Navy Nuclear ELT

Responsibilities

• Record and trend data from chemical analysis
• Notify management for out-of-spec conditions and adverse trends
• Respond to operations chemistry needs
• Perform on-shift chemistry duties
• Inventory chemicals, equipment and supplies
• Maintain laboratory and instruments with good housekeeping
• Perform radiological surveys for chemistry tasks
• Handle gas bottles and resin columns as required
