Qualifications

  • Earned Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field by start date.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching, research and service.
  • Ability to teach across the Mechanical Engineering curriculum, with emphasis on nuclear eng, CFD, gas turbines and propulsion.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ME, including nuclear engineering and CFD.
  • Develop, modernize ME courses and laboratories.
  • Establish and sustain an externally funded research program.
  • Supervise senior design, undergraduate research and graduate theses.
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students; contribute to curriculum and accreditation.
