Overview

ENERCON is seeking a Mechanical Associate Manager to join our growing team of nuclear professionals. In this role, you’ll contribute to the evaluation and implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities, helping to increase reactor output safely and efficiently, while also providing technical leadership, mentoring developing engineers, and supporting project execution. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to a wide range of technical challenges and project scopes. Power uprates span the entire plant and typically involve major upgrades such as replacing large pump motors, generators, high-pressure turbines, and feedwater heaters. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering in power generation or nuclear power
• EIT or PE license preferred
• Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style
• Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant
• US Citizenship required
• Required to travel up to 15 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month) for project and/or marketing meetings
• Activities at client sites may require pre-job briefs and walkdowns at the site, including occasional climbing
