Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a skilled AOV technician to perform diagnostic testing, maintenance and repair of various AOV types in a nuclear environment. You will report to the On-Site Manager and provide field support while ensuring safety and compliance with procedures.

You should have hands-on AOV experience, read blueprints and schematics, and be able to use diagnostic instruments. Availability for overtime, shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of hands-on experience in diagnostic testing and AOV/actuator valve maintenance in the nuclear industry.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools, electrical instruments and diagnostic tools, conforming to OSHA/client safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Report to the On-Site Manager.
• Apply technical expertise in AOV analysis and maintenance.
• Perform AOV diagnostic testing during maintenance, testing, repair and troubleshooting.
• Provide field support for AOV maintenance activities.
• Analyze diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Ensure safety clearance requirements are met per procedures.
• Document all repair, testing and assembly activities thoroughly.
• Use safety tools and processes (e.g., ALARA) during tasks.
