Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a Nuclear Analyst Consultant for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant in Oak Harbor, Ohio. You will plan and execute assignments, analyze data, and recommend changes to methods, procedures or policies, with broad responsibility for scope and results.

Qualifications include a technical degree or equivalent nuclear experience, and supervisory experience. You will coordinate activities, troubleshoot, and train staff as needed in a challenging energy-system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 14 years related nuclear experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisor experience or resident expert in field.
• Knowledge of plant equipment, systems and processes; regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data analysis and evaluation of plant systems, equipment and work activities.
• Evaluate equipment performance and determine corrective actions.
• Coordinate manpower and activities to achieve scopes of work.
• Prepare materials and conduct training on procedures and processes.
• May serve as a technical subject matter expert within defined area.
