Education must include an associate degree in a technical curriculum or 60 college credits in engineering. 2 math and 2 physics courses are required; technical programs may substitute. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a technical curriculum is required.
• 60 college credits in an engineering curriculum are acceptable with math and physics courses included.
• No amount of experience can substitute for the required education; technical programs may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and higher classified personnel in generating, assembling, and verifying nuclear analysis information.
• Assist in data analysis, summary, and preparation in written or graphic form with algebra and trig calculations.
• Review computer input sheets, run data analysis, and modify non-complex programs as needed.
• Catalog and maintain input/output files, calculation notes and records; run plotting programs.
• Support engineering activities within the assigned group and learn new skills.
