Job description

Nuclear Analysis Technician

Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. We are looking for an innovative team member to support Westinghouse’s mission to deliver clean energy solutions. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Salary

Base salary range: $41,070 – $67,661 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and other senior personnel in technical type functions related to the generation, assemblage, and verification of nuclear analysis information.
• Support engineering work that requires high-level manipulative skills and technical knowledge.
• Analyze, summarize, and prepare data in written and graphical form, requiring calculations with algebraic and trigonometric functions.
• Review computer program input using specified input sheets or check programs.
• Prepare computer input alterations and modifications based on raw data analysis.
• Modify existing non‑complex computer programs.
• Catalog and maintain computer input and output files, calculation notes, and associated records.
• Run data analysis and/or computer plotting programs using existing computer systems.
• Assist in various engineering activities within the assigned functional group, allowing growth in engineering knowledge.

Education Requirement

• Associate’s Degree in a technical curriculum

Experience Requirement
