Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Nuclear Lean AI & Operations Intern in Wilmington, NC for a 10-week project. You’ll digitize KPI flows, apply Lean to streamline MOR processes, and prototype AI-driven automation across Nuclear Operations, working with cross-functional teams and business leaders.

You will gain hands-on exposure to Lean, digital transformation, analytics and AI, while building practical solutions and a pipeline of future productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated interest and hands-on experience with AI technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and Smartsheet.
• Foundational experience with data analysis, automation or digital solutions.
• Continuous-improvement mindset and curiosity for better ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 10-week Lean and digital transformation project for KPI/MOR processes.
• Redesign KPI workflows to eliminate manual work and improve data quality.
• Develop and pilot automation for KPI collection and MOR prep.
• Explore AI use cases to boost productivity and decision making.
• Present impact and create a roadmap for future opportunities.
