Job summary

DTE Energy is seeking an Engineer at multiple levels (Associate, Staff, Senior, & Principal) to perform engineering assignments in a hybrid role at the Newport, MI site. You will follow defined processes, develop solutions, model data, and support plant operations while ensuring compliance with NQA, NRC, and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, manage time and priorities, and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments by following defined processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Proposes solutions to engineering-related problems.
• Collaborates with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems within time and budget constraints.
• Develops models and analyzes data to recommend solutions and/or improvements in processes and programs; develops and presents presentations to all levels of management and/or external parties.
• Maintains compliance with NQA documentation, NRC requirements and safety standards.
