GENERAL SUMMARY:

To deliver quality imaging by means of diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body. Nuclear Medicine Technologist administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients, then monitor the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs in which they localize.

The role you’ll contribute:

· Ability to deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with all patients, physicians, and hospital personnel. Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical personnel that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population within the organization.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, Certification by the ARRT or Certification by the NMTCB
  • Prior Nuclear Medicine experience required
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
  • BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment
  • Current Certification from the ARRT, NMT Certification or NMTCB Certification
