Job summary

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine seeks a physician with expertise in non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) to join our faculty and practice in UT Health East Texas facilities. This role supports the Bronchiectasis and NTM Center and involves clinical care, research, and education.

Responsibilities include leading NTM programs, collaborating with pulmonology and infectious disease teams, and mentoring students and trainees.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Critical Care or Infectious Diseases.
• Experience managing NTM diseases and related care.
• Strong research interest with publications or funded projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care for NTM diseases in pulmonary and extrapulmonary sites.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Lead development of specialized NTM clinical programs and protocols.
• Engage in research, mentorship, and teaching of learners.
