NTE Data Center Security Manager, APJC NTE Security

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access for our customers. Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly motivated NTE Security Manager for sites across APAC, based in Taiwan. The role involves overseeing security system installations and managing physical security operations across multiple data center facilities. Key responsibilities include evaluating and addressing security gaps, implementing remediation strategies, and ensuring ongoing protection of remote data center operations.

The role also involves standardizing regional security practices, driving innovation, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Additional duties include managing vendor partnerships for security-related activities, compiling reports, providing updates to management, leveraging data insights, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, communicative, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Analyze existing security operations to identify opportunities for improvement, risk mitigation, and strengthening security posture.
  2. Lead regional security build projects and standardization/innovation initiatives.
  3. Evaluate security situations, make decisions under pressure, and develop action plans.
  4. Create and manage performance metrics to monitor and improve security.
  5. Oversee and collaborate with security service providers for effective service delivery.
  6. Investigate site incidents, analyze root causes, and produce reports.
  7. Conduct training for data center employees and contractors on security procedures.
  8. Facilitate security operations and oversee project execution across international locations, with travel required.

Minimum qualifications
