NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician. You will use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure safe, straight driving.

The role includes performing state inspections, oil changes, and tire-related repairs, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth within a large nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as part of automotive service.
• Carry out other required maintenance or vehicle repair tasks as needed.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Hagerstown, MD area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age;
• be legally authorized to work in the United States;
• possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
