Job summary

Mavis is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis in the Eldersburg, MD area. Techs use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measure/adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and perform related services to ensure vehicles drive straight and true.

Responsibilities include state-mandated inspections, oil/filters, and flat repairs, with opportunities for career growth; a supportive environment and ongoing on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other required vehicle services.
• Maintain high quality service to improve tire wear, vehicle handling, and customer satisfaction.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Eldersburg, MD area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• preferred: possess a state inspection license

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
