Job summary

State of Pennsylvania is seeking an NSX Administrator for a 3‑month engagement at 1 Technology Park, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The role is hybrid with 1 day onsite weekly, supporting NSX‑T and VMware ecosystem environments.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on NSX‑T, vSphere/ESXi/vCenter experience, strong networking skills, and a track record in micro‑segmentation, security, and automation via PowerShell/PowerCLI or REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering VMware NSX-T in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN concepts.
• Hands-on with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related tooling.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking/virtualization issues.

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience administering VMware NSX-T in enterprise environments - Required
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VX - Required
