Contour Education is seeking a State Subject Curriculum Lead for Physics in NSW. You will own the curriculum source of truth, map syllabuses, and guide resource development across the state.

This founding role offers autonomy to shape the course from the ground up and collaborate with the national Head of Subject. We value deep curriculum expertise, documentation excellence, and the ability to work with modern software and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Deep curriculum expertise and strong opinions on sequencing, teaching, and exams under NESA.
• Excellent documentation skills with durable educational frameworks.
• Uncompromising attention to detail and polished formatting.
• High bandwidth to meet tight production deadlines and patch issues proactively.
• Comfort using modern software and AI tooling to accelerate drafting.

Responsibilities

• Map and maintain the curriculum source of truth for Physics in NSW.
• Translate insights into live topic sequencing and school-specific workshops.
• Design targeted materials and support systems for assessments and rankings.
• Brief and steer Resource Developers to prevent bottlenecks.
• Sign off on all subject materials as final quality gate.
