Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a high-caliber NRP Perfusionist based in Los Angeles to support organ recovery missions and provide critical ECMO support for adult cardiac surgery teams. The role involves travel across California, a focus on NRP, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver lifesaving care.

Ideal candidates will have accreditation in cardiovascular perfusion, ABCP certification, and at least 1 year of NRP experience or a strong willingness to learn.

• Graduate of Accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion training program.
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
• NRP experience: 1 year preferred or strong eagerness to learn NRP.
• Agility & travel readiness: willing to travel for NRP recovery cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead & support NRP procedures within your training and credentials.
• Drive mechanical circulatory support and ECMO-related services as needed.
• Maintain surgical precision by assisting with adult open-heart cases during downtime.
• Collaborate with surgeons, transplant teams, physicians, and nurses.

Lead & Support: Provide specialized perfusion expertise for NRP withinthe scope of your training and credentials.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Graduate of Accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion training program.

Certification: Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.

NRP Expertise: Minimum of 1-year NRP experience preferred or strong eagerness to learn NRP.

Agility & Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel for NRP recovery cases and flexibility for call coverage.

Core Strengths: Critical thinking, adaptability, strong communication.
