Program Overview & Role

Ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking a motivated NRO Communications and Satellite Control Network (SCN) Liaison in Colorado Springs, CO, to support our FROST program and provide satellite support to our government customer. The role involves real-time on-orbit support, launch ascent support, and End-of-Life operations for NOPS-supported activities, serving as the operational and engineering interface to the SCN. Work is performed at Schriever Garrison and includes satellite operations and health checks.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and submit Customer Service Requests, Incident Reports, and Telephone Requests.
• Review and coordinate External User RFCs and SCN RFCs, resolve Problem Reports.
• Coordinate maintenance actions, support meetings, telecoms, and installations.
• Assist with circuit cut-over testing and verification.
• Update and brief daily slides for commanders and lead/brief the PR Working group.
• Escort maintenance personnel and perform software maintenance actions on NOPS SCN WANIUs.
• Update passwords, provide launch and operations engineering support, and participate in Factory SCN Compatibility Tests (FACT).

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Active TS/SCI with POLY clearance.
• High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in space operations, maintenance, or related fields.
• Experience in space communications circuit management.
• Ability to work shifts supporting mission operations.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with NRO communications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
