MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Account Lead to join our team in Herndon, VA. As the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate Account Lead, you will serve as the single owner of the account, accountable for end-to-end account health, strategy, and outcomes across growth, delivery, and resource management. You will act as the primary face of the company to the client and manage senior client relationships while driving operational excellence and business expansion.
Define and own the integrated account strategy aligned to sector and enterprise priorities and performance outcomes
Lead senior client relationships and serve as the primary point of coordination across the account
Manage all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects involving multiple disciplines within the IT function
Ensure disciplined execution against account plans and priorities while evaluating account health and intervening when outcomes are at risk
Own account-level performance management, escalation, risk mitigation, and course correction
Employ scrum master techniques in Agile development practices to optimize senior-level delivery and program execution
Own account strategy, prioritization, and performance outcomes
Make tradeoff decisions across growth, delivery, margin, and investment at the account level
Drive accountability for account-level revenue, margin, and recompete outcomes
Serve as the final point of alignment and escalation for account-level decisions
Act as the single point of accountability for account outcomes while ensuring Program Managers and portfolio leaders retain delivery responsibilities
Demonstrated expertise and operational familiarity within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), regarding all facets of complex mission operations.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT project management or systems engineering
Proven experience managing the financial performance and strategic resource allocation of a business unit or large support function
Demonstrated leadership experience directing multi-disciplinary teams and resolving high-level organizational challenges
Experience developing and executing long-term strategic plans for technical programs or organizational entities
Experience collaborating and negotiating successfully with senior internal and external stakeholders
Deep understanding of the NRO mission environment, operational structure, and acquisition processes
Proven self-starter with exceptional leadership skills and a track record of driving change across an enterprise
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $165,900.00-$297,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
