Eagle Systems, located at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC, seeks an Electronics Technician to support EW simulation RDT&E. You will provide engineering support, maintenance, and testing for EO/IR and RF missile simulators and related equipment.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree in electronics or avionics, 10 years of EW systems experience, CAD skills, and the ability to operate GSE. U.S.
This position supports the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Advanced Techniques Branch, Digital Technologies Section of the Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD). Responsibilities include providing engineering support, maintenance, and testing services necessary to conduct EW Simulation research, development, test, and evaluation (RDTandE). Duties involve assisting in the electrical and mechanical design, development, operation, and maintenance of Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) missile simulators and related equipment. Other tasks may involve interpreting and generating engineering data, design specifications, schematics, and installation drawings to support design, modification, and installation of airborne and land-based simulators and data collection devices. Functions also include conducting engineering analysis and performance evaluations of EW systems. Some travel will be required. May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Position located at Naval Research Laboratory, Washington DC. May work at other locations, to include NRL facilities, field sites, and aboard commercial or military RDTandE aircraft during test flight events. Requisition ESI 0194.
