We are seeking an engineer to lead the Advanced Materials and Processes team. This role will lead a cross‑functional team responsible for developing new materials and processes from initial conceptualization through low‑rate initial production. It requires that the team member develop an intimate understanding of the aircraft system requirements to effectively develop and implement materials and/or processes that solve for the goals of the business. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the development of new materials and process technologies. The candidate should possess deep experience in one or more manufacturing technologies, including, but not limited to, filament winding, automated fiber placement, resin transfer molding, compression molding, injection molding, resin casting, metal additive manufacturing, forging, metal casting, stamping, welding, conventional spray coating, thermal spray coating, and electroplating.

As a member of the Advanced Materials and Processes team, you will collaborate with a broad range of team members to deliver new technologies that will enable Beta to achieve profitable full rate production.
