Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle seeks an experienced supply chain and procurement professional to own the NPI program strategy, ensure material readiness from prototype through launch, and partner with engineering, procurement, and data center operations.

You will balance multiple priorities, interact with senior AWS leaders, and drive data-driven reviews and risk mitigation for new product introductions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Responsibilities

• Executes strategic plans that improve service, productivity and quality, and that align to the overall organization vision.
• Develop and implement systems of accountability to ensure ongoing, measurable performance improvement.
• Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of the supply chain activities.
• Prepare and give detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on new product launches or transitions.
• Drive strategic BOM reviews and qualifications with internal teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field

Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
