Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a NPI Production Inspector to inspect incoming mechanical components and vessel sub-assembly systems for dimensional conformity and quality. The role collaborates with launch teams to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, verify tolerances, document results, and participate in First Article Build activities. Proficiency with measurement tools and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of dimensional tolerances and measurement tools.
• Exposure to composite inspection preferred.
• Understanding of torque values and torque striping verification.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on assemblies.
• Verify components and assemblies meet drawings and specifications.
• Check dimensional tolerances using appropriate measurement tools.
• Validate torque values and torque striping.
• Document inspection results clearly within company systems.
• Assist in receiving inspection and system rollout at alternate production locations.
• Lead First Article Inspection for prototype builds (occasionally at supplier, if needed).
• Develop skillset in 3D modeling systems.
