Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a New Process Introduction Engineer to drive technology transfer and industrialization of new processes into manufacturing. The role focuses on transferring processes from a sister facility in France, stabilizing and improving performance, yield, and efficiency while leading cross-functional optimization across production.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering
  • BS in Engineering required
  • Ability to travel to Europe to learn new processes
  • Understand complex process flow and machines
  • Subject matter expert in assigned process area
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work with global teams where English may not be native
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

  • Understand and deploy processes from R&D at production sites
  • Develop and translate process documentation
  • Industrialize processes to meet productivity and yield targets
  • Coordinate equipment/software/recipes modifications during rollout
  • Travel to other manufacturing sites (less than 10% typical)
  • Provide guidance to operations and maintenance teams
  • Lead improvement projects to reduce cost and improve quality
  • Collaborate with engineers at other Prysmian plants to solve problems
  • Contribute to the global process control team and drive change
  • Comply with safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines
  • Communicate effectively and present information clearly
  • Analyze large data sets to drive decisions
  • Support continuous process improvement culture
  • Report to R&D Leadership team in Douvrin, France
