Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an Engineering Planner to manage New Product Introduction scheduling and release processes, coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Quality to transfer new products from AE’s global design centers into production in Denver.

You will plan and monitor PDP milestones, ensure material availability, maintain BOMs in SAP, release parts and orders, and support escalation of capacity or material constraints in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to present ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor final approval of products through the complete Product Development Process (PDP).
• Coordinate production plans for new products ensuring availability of material to meet project schedules.
• Manage on-time delivery goals of products by committed ship date.
• Work to resolve capacity, material constraints and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Approve unit quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
• Manage and implement NPI Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Coordinates with engineering to create and maintain Bill of Material (BOMs) in SAP.
• Manages the release of parts, modules, and/or units to appropriate department in production.
• Creates and maintains work orders, purchase requests and internal transfer orders.
