Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking an experienced NPI Planner in Streetsboro, Ohio to coordinate planning, scheduling, and material readiness for new product launches. You will translate master production schedules into executable work orders and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure on-time releases.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, data-driven reporting, and mentoring junior planners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Exceptional verbal and written communication to coordinate with stakeholders.
Ability to analyze supply chain data, forecast demand, and optimize material flow.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling for new product launches to support daily production and on-time releases.
Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and production teams for end-to-end lifecycle management.
Track hardware requirements, procurement, and supplier coordination to ensure inventory readiness.
Identify supply chain or production risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays.
Prepare and present status reports, risk assessments, and process-improvement opportunities using ERP/MRP data.
Mentor junior planners and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
