Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Manufacturing Quality & Reliability Engineer to drive NPI qualification and Mass Production readiness. You will lead technical reviews, analyze data for gaps, and develop RCCA processes to ensure reliable fab production.

The role collaborates with global teams to benchmark quality improvements, build risk tools, and enhance KPI dashboards. On-site, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Familiar with quality tools: SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, statistics.
• Experience with process integration and fab processes (deposition, lithography, etch, diffusion).

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI qualification and MP readiness for multiple products and nodes.
• Run review boards and communicate technical info to senior leaders.
• Review and monitor data for gaps to support mass production via statistical analysis.
• Develop risk assessment tools and improve procedures for new nodes/products.
• Create data analysis scripts/dashboards to monitor quality KPIs fab-wide.
• Coordinate with expats and QR teams in Korea to benchmark quality improvements.
