Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product development, manufacturing, systems integration, or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with cable assemblies, harnesses, or product integration.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and 2D drafting tools (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD a plus).
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and mechanical design principles.
• Experience supporting ECOs, BOM management, and configuration control processes.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, development, and implementation of cable assemblies and installation solutions for new product introduction and sustaining programs.
• Serve as technical owner for cable system architecture and product integration activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and production readiness.
• Design mechanical components, fixtures, tooling, and assembly aids to improve manufacturability and quality.
• Plan and support product verification, validation, and production testing; analyze results and implement improvements.
• Drive ECO implementation, drawing revisions, BOM updates, and configuration control to maintain product integrity.
• Lead or support manufacturing readiness activities and product transfers.
